No! Not Again!
I did these the first time. I am not doing them again.
Even though the day I met my best friend I was wearing houndstooth leggings, wheeling my daughter in a stroller, and carrying my son in a front pack. I am telling you, I am NOT doing these again. And you can't make me. Not even if they look like cool old British book endpapers.
Don't even try.
Oh. Wait. I'm 52. You don't WANT me to do this trend again. My apologies. Carry on. And no, this has nothing to do with delayed gratification except that distractions are common during delays. Carry on.

haha, i don't really care how old you are, i don't want anyone to do this trend :-)
ps. i changed by blog url: dontworrylover.blogspot.com
Is it really sick and worrying that I actually think they are quite cool?!!
I am laughing so hard at this post- in the early 90's these were all the rage of my elementary school and we all had custom-made leggings. We thought we were so cool in our neon-spandex with designs of sailboats, kitty-cats, crazy squiggles and unicorns on them.
kHm
The funniest thing is that when these 'trends' come around again, I dig into my 'bin of insanity' of things that I kept because I KNEW they could be used for costumes ans such later on down the timeline road...my daughter and friends think it's 'wonderful'! Leg warmers, check. Patterned leggings, check. Silver spoonrings, check.
Who knew I was so hip?
:-)
Ew. Not the first, time, thank you.
Ah, those were the days.
They do look really cool on my 15 year-old daughter.
I couldn't do it the first time.
I have said never, to what I am wearing right now. I have done that frequently. Then, I end up giving in lest I look like I am stuck in a previous era.
*sigh* THose just do NOT look good on my 50-y-o body. They pretty much only look good on.... well... no one actually. LOL
That top print looks soooo familiar -- Cooking with Le Creuset 30 years after you first bought it, no problem. Wearing a recycled fashion 30 years later, not so cool.
HAHAHA! In another 20 years you COULD wear them again- everyone loves an old eccentric!
my 5 year old girl BEGS me to wear, as she says, leggin's. She thinks leggin's are HOT.
BUT.
SHE
IS
FIVE
Ugh, of all fashion trends to make a come-back. :)
I actually think those leggings are cute on the right legs (not mine) but what I love the most are the new wild socks that some are wearing with their cowboy boots. They are knee socks so they show above the tops of the boots and are worn with skirts. I love them.....but sadly, they don't love me back.
A huge no for me too..., well I do wear the short style (first picture) in black though!
Hmmm. Haaahhhh.
I'll, um, comment when I, um, stop twitching.
Wow, I think I just died and woke up in the 90s. I didn't like them the first time around, either.
Okay, we ar feeling more-than-ignorant, not realizing these are back. They are fun, although not for us either Miss LPC, we think they'd ask for ID if we tried!
tp
I didn't do them the first time, but I'm doing them now, at 45. Under DRESSES and long tunics, not the I-forgot-my-pants-but-I'm-wearing-long-underwear look thanks!
Though I do have some tie-dyed green ones you just reminded me of, I'm doing black only at the mo, shorter ones with lace edging for a nice transition to my shockingly white leglets. Works a treat. :)
